  • low-fat cottage cheese - 1 c
  • grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
  • spaghetti sauce - 4 c
  • extra lean ground beef - 1/4 lb
  • shredded part skim Mozzarella cheese - 3/4 c
  • box cooked lasagna noodles - 1/2 item

How to make light lasagna:

Prepare noodles according to package directions. Preheat oven to 375°. Brown ground beef in a nonstick frypan and drain well. Add spaghetti sauce; bring to boil. Remove from heat. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer sauce, noodles, cottage cheese and Mozzarella cheese; repeat layers, ending with sauce and Parmesan cheese. Cover dish with foil and bake for 1 hour. Let stand 5 to 10 minutes before cutting squares.
