  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • dried thyme, crushed - 1/4 tsp
  • grated lemon peel
  • asparagus spears, cooked in unsalted water - 1 lb

How to make lemony asparagus:

Snap off and discard woody bases from asparagus. Cook spears in a large skillet for 8 minutes. Drain. Serve on small warmed platter. Melt butter in same skillet. Add lemon, salt and thyme. Pour over asparagus.
