- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- butter or margarine - 1 c
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- sifted all-purpose flour - 3 c
- can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed - 1 oz
- sugar to sprinkle over cookies - 1 item
How to make lemonade cookies:
Cream together butter or margarine and 1 cup sugar. Add eggs; beat until light and fluffy. Sift together flour and soda; add alternately to egg mixture with 1/2 cup lemonade concentrate. From a teaspoon drop dough 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° about 8 minutes or until lightly browned around the edges. Brush hot cookies lightly with remaining lemonade concentrate; sprinkle with sugar. Remove cookies to cooling rack.
