Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1/2 pt
- butter or margarine - 1/4 lb
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- dash of salt - 1 item
- sifted all-purpose flour - 2 c
How to make sour cream cake:
Mix all ingredients, alternating flour and sour cream. Grease and flour 8 x 8-inch square pan. Pour in half the dough. Sprinkle with a mixture of 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour in remaining dough and top with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Eggs/dairy, Chocolate.
