Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- powdered sugar - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
- soft butter - 1 c
- lemon juice - 4 Tbsp
- grated lemon peel - 1 Tbsp
- Filling:4 beaten eggs
How to make lemon squares:
Filling:4 beaten eggs2 c. sugar1/4 c. flour1 Tbsp. grated lemon peel4 Tbsp. lemon juice Crust: Combine the ingredients; press into a 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350°, or until lightly browned.Filling: Beat ingredients together; pour over baked crust. Bake 25 minutes longer. Remove from the oven immediately. Sift powdered sugar over the top. Cool; cut into squares.
