- sugar - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- Lemon Filling:2 eggs
How to make lemon squares:
Lemon Filling:2 eggs1/2 tsp. baking powder2 Tbsp. lemon juice1 c. sugar1/4 tsp. salt Blend ingredients and press into an 8 x 8 x 2-inch square pan. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.For filling, mix together ingredients and pour over crust and bake 20 minutes more or until firm. Let cool and cut into squares. Use an 11 x 7-inch pan to double recipe.
