Lemon sorbet
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- boiling water - 3 c
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- grated lemon rind - 2 tsp
How to make lemon sorbet:
Combine boiling water and sugar, stirring until sugar dissolves. Let cool. Add lemon rind and juice. Pour mixture into a 9-inch square pan; freeze until firm. To serve, let mixture stand at room temperature 10 minutes. Yields 4 cups.Recipe categories: Desserts, Frozen desserts, Fruit.
