- eggs - 4 item
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- powdered sugar
- lemon juice - 1/2 c
- orange juice - 3/4 c
- lemon extract - 2 tsp
How to make lemon pound cake:
Glaze:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1/2 c. lemon juice Cake: Put all cake ingredients in a bowl and beat. Bake in a greased and floured Bundt pan at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Glaze: Combine powdered sugar and lemon juice. Prick hot cake (in the pan) every inch with long-tined fork. Spoon half of glaze over cake. Let stand 10 minutes. Invert onto serving plate and spoon rest of glaze over cake.
