- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- milk - 1 c
- flour
- butter - 1/2 lb
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- lemon extract - 2 Tbsp
How to make lemon pound cake:
Cream butter, Crisco and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder. Add to mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Add extract. Spray tube pan generously with Pam. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
