  • chopped nuts - 1/4 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • sticks margarine - 2 item
  • powdered sugar
  • finely chopped nuts optional - 1 item
  • tub Cool Whip - 1 (9
  • lemon instant pudding - 2 pkg

How to make lemon lush:

Filling:2 c. powdered sugar2 (8 oz.) pkg. Philadelphia cream cheese1 (9 oz.) tub Cool Whip2 pkg. lemon instant pudding finely chopped nuts (optional) Put crust ingredients together and cut in like pie dough. Pat in a 9 x 13-inch pan sprayed with Pam or shortening. Bake at 350° for 20 minutes. Cool.

Filling: Blend cheese and powdered sugar well. Fold in half of Cool Whip; spread over cooled crust and refrigerate until firm.

Prepare lemon pudding according to package directions. Spread over first layer. Place the remainder of Cool Whip on top. Sprinkle with nuts.

Chocolate instant pudding may be used instead of lemon.
