Ingredients/Components
- lemon Jell-O - 1 pkg
- eggs - 4 item
- cooking oil - 1 c
- Duncan Hines lemon cake mix - 1 pkg
- lemon flavoring - 1 Tbsp
- Mix cake mix with the eggs, oil and lemon flavoring
- lemon extract - 1 Tbsp
- drops yellow food coloring - 2 item
- canned milk - 6 Tbsp
How to make lemon cake:
Dissolve Jell-O in 1 cup hot water, then cool. Mix cake mix with the eggs, oil and lemon flavoring. Beat for 4 minutes at medium speed. Add Jell-O and mix again. Bake in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan for 30 to 35 minutes at 350°.Frosting:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar1 Tbsp. lemon extract2 drops yellow food coloring6 Tbsp. canned milk Mix all ingredients together and pour over the cake while it is still hot.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
