Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- sifted flour
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- butter, melted - 1/3 c
- grated peel of 1 lemon
- Combine dry ingredients
How to make lemon bread:
Grease 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Combine dry ingredients. Add milk, butter and eggs and stir until just well mixed. Pour in pan. Bake 45 to 50 minutes, small pans 30 to 40 minutes.
