Lemon bars
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- confectioners sugar - 1 item
- all-purpose flour
- margarine, softened - 1/3 c
- egg substitute - 2 or
- Minute Maid lemon juice - 3 Tbsp
How to make lemon bars:
Combine 1 cup flour and 1/4 cup sugar. Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture onto bottom of an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 15 minutes or until lightly browned. Blend eggs, Minute Maid lemon juice and remaining flour and sugar. Pour over pastry crust. Bake 15 minutes more or until set. Cool slightly. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar. Cool completely. Cut into 2 x 1-inch bars. Makes 32 bars.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cookie and brownie, Bar cookie.
