Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- flour - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- powdered sugar - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar if desired - 1 item
- lemon grated rind - 1 item
How to make lemon bars:
Frosting:1 1/2 c. powdered sugar2 Tbsp. lemon juice confectioners sugar (if desired) Mix first 3 ingredients together. Put into bottom of 8-inch square pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350°. Then mix the rest of the ingredients and put it on the baked crust and bake for 25 minutes more. Frost while warm with powdered sugar (about 1 1/2 cups). Mix with lemon rind.
