Ingredients/Components

  • frozen peas - 2 pkg
  • hard-boiled eggs, chopped - 3 item
  • sweet pickle juice - 1 item
  • dill pickle juice - 1 item
  • Cheddar or Colby cheese - 5 oz
  • head iceberg lettuce, sliced thin, then chopped - 1 item
  • chopped cooked meat ham, turkey or chicken - 4 c
  • thin layer Bac*Os - 1 item
  • Dressing:1/2 jar mayonnaise not salad dressing!

How to make layered salad:

Dressing:1/2 jar mayonnaise (not salad dressing!) dill pickle juice sweet pickle juice Layer salad ingredients in the order given; do not mix.

Dressing: Use equal parts of dill pickle juice and sweet pickle juice (just enough to thin mayo to bottled dressing consistency). Cover salad with dressing so that no ingredients show. Garnish with paprika, if desired. Refrigerate overnight. This salad will last 2 days if kept covered and refrigerated.
