  • oil - 1/2 c
  • vinegar - 2 Tbsp
  • garlic salt - 1/2 tsp
  • prepared mustard - 2 Tbsp
  • broccoli flowerets - 1 c
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • carrots, sliced - 3 item
  • cauliflower flowerets - 1 c
  • small fresh mushrooms - 1 c
  • green sweet peppers, cut into strips - 2 item

How to make marinated vegetables:

Cook carrots in 1/2 cup water; boil for 5 minutes. Combine with cauliflower, broccoli, green peppers and mushrooms. Combine mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper. Gradually add oil; stir briskly to blend. Pour over vegetables and toss to coat. Chill thoroughly.
