Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vinegar - 1 c
- large onion, minced - 1 item
- can kidney beans - 1 item
- large green pepper, chopped - 1 item
- French-style green beans - 1 item
- can baby lima beans - 1 item
- 303 can waxed beans
How to make four bean salad:
Drain beans and rinse. Drain thoroughly. Dissolve sugar in vinegar. Add salt. Bring to a boil. Set aside to cool. Combine other ingredients and pour vinegar mixture over them. Mix well. Store in 2-quart jars in refrigerator for 24 hours before serving. Salad will keep several days in refrigerator.Recipe categories: Salads, Beans, North american.
