Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- lemon juice - 1 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- mayonnaise - 1 1
- onion, coarsely chopped - 1 c
- green pepper, coarsely chopped - 1 c
- medium head lettuce, shredded - 1 item
- can bacon bits - 1 item
- can LeSueur green peas, drained - 1 item
- celery, coarsely chopped - 1 c
How to make layered salad:
Arrange in layers the lettuce, celery, green peppers, onion, green peas and Cheddar cheese (this is optional or light cheese may be used). Top with bacon bits.Dressing: Mix mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese (optional), lemon juice and pinch of sugar (optional). Pour dressing over salad and chill for 4 hours or up to 1 day before serving.
