Ingredients/Components

  • sweet Italian sausage
  • ground beef - 1/2 3/4
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 2 tsp
  • basil
  • curly lasagna - 3/4 1
  • Ricotta cheese - 5 oz
  • Mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced - 3/4 lb
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped parsley - 1/4 c
  • crushed fennel seed - 1 tsp
  • 3 oz - 1 lb
  • can tomato paste - 1 oz
  • red or white wine - 1/2 3/4
  • egg - 1 item
  • grated Parmesan cheese fresh - 3/4 c

How to make lasagna:

Take sausage out of casing and leave in chunks. Mix Ricotta cheese, egg and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Assemble: Put sauce on bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan. Layer noodles, Mozzarella cheese, sauce and Ricotta cheese 2 times. Top noodles with Mozzarella; sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 350°.
