Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- salt
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 2/3 c
- cloves garlic, minced - 2 item
- cottage cheese - 1 lb
- oregano - 1 tsp
- basil - 1 tsp
- onion, chopped - 1 item
- olive oil - 1/4 c
- tomato paste - 16 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 1 lb
- lasagna noodles - 1/2 lb
- tomatoes - 1 c
- ground chuck - 1 lb
How to make lasagna:
Brown meat lightly in olive oil with garlic and onion; add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Bring to a boil and simmer covered 2 to 3 hours. Cook noodles in salted boiling water until tender. Drain noodles just before making. In a shallow baking dish, put a layer of noodles and a layer of meat mixture and layer of each kind of cheese. Repeat layers and top with Parmesan cheese. Bake in a 350° oven for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Ground beef, Beef, Lasagna.
