Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- oil - 1/4 c
- pepper - 1/2 tsp
- Parmesan cheese - 3/4 c
- onion salt - 1 tsp
- oregano
- minced onion - 1 c
- tomato paste - 12 oz
- Mozzarella cheese - 16 oz
- cloves minced garlic - 2 item
- can tomatoes - 1 item
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- carton Ricotta cheese - 1 item
- lasagna, cooked - 1 pkg
How to make lasagna:
Simmer tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, oregano, pepper and onion salt. Saute onion and garlic in oil, add ground meat and cook until done; drain.Add meat mixture to tomato sauce; simmer 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Cover bottom of baking dish with 1/3 sauce. Crisscross 1/2 of lasagna over sauce. Cover noodles with 1/2 Ricotta cheese, 1/2 Mozzarella and 1/3 Parmesan. Repeat with sauce on top. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan.
Bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes. Let stand 15 minutes.
