Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- white Karo syrup - 1/2 c
- packed dark brown sugar - 1/2 c
- either chopped pecans or coconut - 1 c
How to make lace cookies:
In a bowl, put flour and nuts. In saucepan, melt butter; add sugar and Karo. Combine the two mixtures and add vanilla. Bake at 350° on foil until done (approximately 8 to 10 minutes). Take foil out; let cool approximately 2 to 3 minutes on cake rack, then peel from foil and let cool on paper towels on another cookie rack.
