Jewish coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped nuts
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- sifted flour - 2 c
- butter oleo - 3/4 c
- instant cocoa do not use regular cocoa - 2 tsp
How to make jewish coffee cake:
Nut Filling:1/2 c. chopped nuts2 Tbsp. brown sugar2 tsp. instant cocoa (do not use regular cocoa)1 tsp. cinnamon Cream butter and sugar; add eggs. Beat well. Fold in vanilla and sour cream; gradually add dry ingredients, which have been sifted together. Mix well.Grease and flour tube pan. Pour half of batter into pan, then sprinkle half of nut mixture over batter. Cover again with remaining batter, then sprinkle rest of nut mixture on top. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes. Toothpick test.
Filling: Mix ingredients well.
