Japanese fruitcake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 6 item
- butter - 1 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- allspice - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- raisins white - 1 c
- milk - 1/2 c
- flour - 4 c
- cloves - 1 tsp
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- nuts pecans - 1 c
- Add milk
- cake batter - 3/4 c
- cans coconut - 2 item
- melted butter - 3 Tbsp
- red candied cherries - 1 c
- coconut juice - 1 c
- juice and grated rinds - 1 item
How to make japanese fruitcake:
Cream the butter and sugar. Add milk. Beat well and add beaten eggs. Sift together dry ingredients. Mix into batter and add nuts and raisins. Reserve 1 3/4 cups batter for filling. Bake in 3 layers at 375° for 25 minutes. Yields 3 large or 4 smalRecipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Cake fillings and frostings.
