Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 2 Tbsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • baking powder - 3 tsp
  • cornmeal - 2 c
  • grated onion - 1 c
  • grated cheese Cheddar
  • 303 can cream-style corn
  • or 5 jalapeno peppers, chopped - 4 item

How to make jalapeno cornbread:

Combine cornmeal, flour, salt, sugar and baking powder and stir in eggs (beaten slightly), milk and oil. Mix well. Add corn and remaining ingredients. Pour into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 375° about 45 minutes.
