  • beef broth - 4 cans
  • sweet Italian sausage, casing removed, browned - 1/2 lb
  • box tortellini - 9 oz
  • box spinach tortellini - 9 oz
  • cabbage, shredded - 1/2 lb
  • small green pepper, diced - 1 item
  • medium zucchini, sliced - 1 item
  • small red onion, chopped - 1 item
  • medium tomato, diced - 1 item
  • basil - 1 Tbsp
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item

How to make italian tortellini soup:

Combine all ingredients in a large pot. Add salt and pepper. Bring to a boil over medium heat; reduce heat and simmer until pasta and vegetables are tender, about 15 to 18 minutes. Makes 5 quarts.
