Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- shortening - 3/4 c
- flour, sifted - 3 c
- few drops vanilla - 1 item
- Frosting:1/2 to 3/4 box confectioners sugar
- scalded light cream - 1/4 c
How to make italian cookies:
Frosting:1/2 to 3/4 box confectioners sugar1/4 c. butter1/4 c. scalded light cream few drops vanilla Mix cookie ingredients all together. When well mixed, form different shapes on cookie sheet using 1 tablespoon per cookie. Cook in a 400° oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden on top. Cool.Frosting: Cream a small amount of each ingredient given until you get the desired consistency.
