Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- medium noodles - 1 pkg
- ground beef - 1 lb
- cottage cheese - 1 c
- cans tomato sauce - 2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 3/4 c
- green onions - 6 item
- garlic - 1/8 tsp
How to make italian casserole:
Cook noodles according to package directions. Brown meat and stir in tomato sauce. Add salt and garlic. Simmer 5 minutes.Combine cooked noodles, cottage cheese, sour cream and onions. In a 2-quart casserole, alternate layers of noodles and meat sauce. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes.
