  • salt - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • eggs, well beaten - 2 item
  • grated onion
  • white corn meal - 2 c

How to make hush puppies:

Mix all the ingredients together. A little more milk may be added for heavy batter. Drop by spoonfuls the size of an egg in 400° oil. Drain and keep in hot oven.
