  • vanilla
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • oil
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • powdered sugar - 16 oz
  • crushed pineapple, drained - 8 oz
  • chopped bananas - 1 item
  • chopped pecans, 1 c - 2 c
  • Add eggs and oil; stir until ingredients are moist do not beat

How to make hummingbird cake:

Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add eggs and oil; stir until ingredients are moist (do not beat). Stir in remaining ingredients and pour in 3 greased round cake pans and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350°.Icing:8 oz. cream cheese, softened1 c. butter, softened16 oz. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla Beat cream cheese and butter. Add powdered sugar a little at a time. Beat until fluffy. Add vanilla and finishing beating.
