Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1 c
- bananas - 2 c
- can drained crushed pineapple - 8 oz
How to make hummingbird cake:
Combine first five ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs and oil, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Do not beat. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, pecans and bananas. Spoon batter into three greased and floured pans. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
