Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- almond - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans or walnuts - 1 c
- chopped bananas - 2 c
- box xxx sugar - 1 item
- Add all other ingredients and stir by hand until mixed
How to make hummingbird cake:
Sift dry ingredients together in large bowl. Add all other ingredients and stir by hand until mixed. (Do not beat.) Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool in pan.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)1 stick margarine1 tsp. vanilla1 box xxx sugar Mix well and spread on cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, < 60 mins.
