Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- cream cheese
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- coconut - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil
- can crushed pineapple - 1 oz
- box confectioners sugar - 1 oz
- chopped apples - 1 c
- chopped bananas - 2 c
How to make hummingbird cake:
Frosting:8 oz. cream cheese1 (16 oz.) box confectioners sugar1 stick margarine1 Tbsp. vanilla Sift dry ingredients together. Add rest of ingredients. Mix with a fork. Bake in greased and floured tube cake pan at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.Mix all ingredients for frosting. Frost cake when cool. Makes lots of frosting. This is a heavy "yummy" cake.
