Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla
- chopped pecans - 3/4 c
- pkg
- oil
- self-rising flour - 3 c
- can crushed pineapple with juice - 1 1/2
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- stick oleo - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 3/4 c
- large bananas, chopped - 4 item
How to make hummingbird cake:
Icing:1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 stick oleo1 box powdered sugar3/4 c. pecans, chopped1 tsp. vanilla Combine flour, sugar and cinnamon; mix well with spoon. Do not overmix. Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch cake pans. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Top with icing.For icing, mix together ingredients and spread over cake.
