  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • stick oleo or butter - 1 item
  • lemon extract or almond - 1 tsp

How to make hot milk cake:

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream eggs, sugar, vanilla and lemon together.

In a saucepan, add milk and oleo. Bring to a boil and add to mixture. Mix real well. Grease and flour 10-inch tube pan. Bake 45 minutes or 1 hour at 350°. Like a pound cake, needs no icing.
