  • milk - 1/2 c
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • flour - 1 c
  • brown sugar
  • vanilla ice cream - 1 item
  • vanilla flavoring - 1 tsp
  • oil - 2 Tbsp
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 2 tsp
  • hot water - 1 to

How to make hot fudge cake:

Topping:1 c. brown sugar1/4 c. cocoa1 3/4 to 2 c. hot water vanilla ice cream Mix dry ingredients with milk, oil and vanilla flavoring. Add nuts and pour into 9 x 9-inch baking pan.

Topping: Mix brown sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over the mixture. Gently pour hot tap water over this. Do not stir. Bake at 350° for about 45 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes before serving. Chocolate sauce will settle to bottom of pan during cooking. Cut into 9 pieces. Add ice cream and spoon chocolate sauce over ice cream and cake.
