Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 3 c
  • shortening - 1 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • pumpkin 1 can - 2 c
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cloves - 1 tsp
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • allspice - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp

How to make pumpkin cake:

Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs. Add pumpkin and stir well. Sift together remaining ingredients and add to above mixture. Bake at 350° for 1 1/4 hours in a Bundt pan.
