Honey apple cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 3/4 c
• cinnamon - 1 tsp
• eggs - 2 item
• salt - 1 tsp
• nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
• dairy sour cream - 1/4 c
• baking soda - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1/2 c
• all-purpose flour - 2 c
• finely chopped apples
• honey - 1/2 c
• powdered cloves - 1/2 tsp

How to make honey apple cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar. Beat in honey. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in sour cream. Mix and sift flour, baking soda, salt and spices; stir in and blend well. Stir in apples. Drop by teaspoon 3 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes or until edges are brown. Makes about 5 dozen.
