Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour
- shortening - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1/2 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make homemade rolls:
In bowl, dissolve yeast in water. Add milk, sugar, salt, egg and flour to yeast. Turn onto floured board. Knead until smooth. Put in greased bowl; cover. Let rise until double, about 1 1/2 hours. Punch down; let rise again, about 30 minutes. Shape and let rise. Bake in 400° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Healthy, Rolls/biscuits.
