  • granulated sugar - 3 c
  • water
  • molasses - 3 Tbsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • butter flavoring - 2 tsp
  • maple extract - 1 tsp

How to make homemade pancake syrup:

Bring all ingredients to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves (a good rolling boil). Turn off burner but leave pot on burner until bubbling stops.
