- vanilla
- chopped pecans - 4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- candied pineapple, chopped - 1/2 lb
- box light brown sugar - 1 item
- candied cherries red and green - 1/2 lb
- creamy butter - 1 lb
How to make holiday pound cake:
Beat eggs one at a time. Add sugar, butter and flavoring. Put salt and soda in sifted flour. Remove 1 cup flour to roll pecans and fruits in before combining in cake. Add floured fruits and nuts and mix well. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt or round cake pan. Bake 3 hours at 250°.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
