Heath bar candy
Ingredients/Components
- water - 3 Tbsp
- white sugar - 1 c
- butter or oleo - 1 c
- dark Karo - 2 Tbsp
How to make heath bar candy:
Put in heavy pan and melt over low heat the butter or oleo, water and Karo. When hot, add sugar. Cook to 310° on candy thermometer. Be careful. At this heat it will scorch easily. Pour out on well buttered cookie sheet. When partly cool, sprinkle chocolate chips on top. When soft, spread with knife. Refrigerate until cool.
