Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- Cool Whip - 2 c
- pecans - 1 c
- bananas - 4 item
- large can crushed pineapple - 1 item
- pie shells - 2 item
How to make hawaiian pie:
Mix pineapple, sugar and cornstarch and cook until thick, stirring constantly (about 7 minutes). Cool. Slice bananas. Place in cooked pie shells. Sprinkle pecans on bananas. Pour pineapple mixture on bananas and nuts. Cover with whipped cream, Dream Whip or Cool Whip. Chill.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
