Hawaiian meatballs
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- vinegar - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 1/4 c
- chopped green pepper - 1/4 c
- hamburger meat
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- dash of garlic salt - 1 item
- cornstarch, dissolved in small amount of water - 2 Tbsp
- sausage meat - 1/2 lb
- Sauce:2 c
- slices bread, broken - 2 item
- chives or onion - 1 item
- can pineapple chunks and liquid - 1 item
How to make hawaiian meatballs:
Mix together and brown meatballs in hot oil.Sauce:2 c. beef broth1 can pineapple chunks and liquid1/4 c. soy sauce1/4 c. chopped green pepper dash of garlic salt1/4 c. vinegar2 Tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in small amount of water Mix all ingredients, except cornstarch, in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Add cornstarch and stir until thickened. Pour over meatballs and simmer 1/2 hour.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Chicken, Main dish.
