  • all-purpose flour - 3 c
  • sugar - 2 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 3 item
  • vegetable oil
  • mashed bananas - 2 c
  • can crushed pineapple, drained - 1 oz
  • vanilla - 2 tsp

How to make hawaiian banana nut bread:

Combine dry ingredients. Stir in nuts; set aside. Combine other ingredients and add to dry ingredients, stirring just until batter is moistened. Spoon into 2 greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pans. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 5 minutes, or until done. Cool 10 minutes. Remove to wire racks and cool completely. This will make 5 small loaves in 5 3/4 x 3 x 2 1/8-inch pans.
