Hamburger stroganoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 1/2
- ground beef - 1 lb
- medium onion, chopped - 1 item
- can mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
- noodles - 1 lb
How to make hamburger stroganoff:
In large skillet or Dutch oven, cook and stir ground beef and onion in butter until onion is tender. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in soup; simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream and heat through. Serve over cooked noodles. Serves 4 to 6.Recipe can be multiplied.
