Ingredients/Components

  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1 tsp
  • flour - 2 Tbsp
  • butter - 1/3 c
  • pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • clove garlic, minced - 1 item
  • chopped onion - 1/2 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • can mushrooms, drained - 1 oz
  • noodles - 8 oz
  • ground venison - 1 lb

How to make venison stroganoff:

In large skillet, cook meat and onion in butter until meat is brown. Stir in flour, salt, garlic, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat through. Serve over cooked noodles.
