Ham and asparagus pie
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
- margarine - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- mayonnaise - 1/4 c
- cooked, diced ham - 2 c
- baked deep dish pie shell - 1 item
How to make ham and asparagus pie:
Melt butter in a saucepan. Stir in next 3 ingredients. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in milk until smooth. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sauce comes to a boil. Boil for 1 minute. Stir small amount of sauce into mayonnaise, then stir into mixture in saucepan. Add ham, asparagus and lemon juice; cook until heated. Turn into pie shell. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese. Broil about 2 minutes, until lightly browned. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Asparagus, Pork, Ham.
