sugar - 1 c
eggs - 2 item
vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1/2 tsp
flour - 2 c
brown sugar - 1 c
coconut - 1 c
baking powder - 1 tsp
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
shortening - 1 c
quick cooking oats - 2 c
gumdrops, cut in small pieces - 1 c

How to make gumdrop cookies:

Cream shortening and sugars; add eggs and beat well. Add vanilla. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture. Add oats, coconut and gumdrops. Roll into small balls and put onto greased cookie sheet. Press flat with fork. Bake in 375° oven for 10 minutes.
