Ingredients/Components
- tsp salt - 1 item
- quarts water - 2 item
- Mess of greens turnip, mustard or collards - 1 item
- inch cube salt pork - 2 item
How to make greens:
Wash greens thoroughly. Strip leaves from stems. Put greens in a pot and add water, salt pork and salt. Cover tightly, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer until tender. The longer they cook - the better they taste.Recipe categories: American, Side dish, Vegetables.
